"POWER" themed Card Game Game Art & Digital Graphic Novel (No.2) Rough Draft

Finally sketched up a rough idea of how I want the Card Game's Game Art to be. I'm going to attempt an extensive curve perspective. This will be the first time, hopefully it turns out good.

Six Characters from the Card Game that I've picked ;

The Good side
- Wanderer Micheal Ooi
- Mastermind Hilmy
- Liquidus Mini Fishy

The Evil side
- Commander Buzz Surpluzz
- Lt. Wan Azuhri Bradwarden
- Gattler Adam Majid

Post Script :
In order to clearly see the arrangement of the characters, tilt head 45degree angle to the right.

Project MGM (Completed)

Project MGM, which stands for Project Metal Gear Manga, is a project which I took up doing somewhere is August 2011 and completed in January 2012. This was a collaboration between me and a cool friend of mine, Asyraf Syazwan. I believe he is currently furthering his studies now and has not focus in drawing for some time now. If you so happen to stumble across this bro, it was a great experience working with you and I look forward to more in the future.

The scene is from Metal Gear Solid 2 : Sons of Liberty. This particular scene is where Raiden left Solid Snake to battle Fortune alone.
Inside the game, it was not explain as to how Solid Snake battled Fortune, especially when Fortune posseses the "magical bullet deflector" gadget and how Solid Snake ended up being handcuffed by Fortune. This is our version of what happened.

Below is one of the page from the short manga. I will have them all posted once I compiled them. Until then, enjoy the teaser page.

=)

*Because this is a Japanese-styled Manga, please read it from Right to Left.

Also, as we both are fans of Danny Choo, we've decided to put in a cameo of Danny Choo's Culture Japan and Mirai Suenaga herself.

 "POWER" themed Game Art &
"POWER" themed Digital Graphic Novel Project

For my first project under the theme "Power", I will make another Game Art and the first digital graphic novel for the CardGameProject which I am currently working on.

This was the first Game Art that I worked on few weeks back. Basically I took the first 6 character cards that I made and put them together into one fighting scene.

 This is the first 6 "featured complete" cards.

Below are the compilation of the first batch of 13 cards done so far.

For the second Game Art, I intend to do a Game Narrative Story of "Power" struggle between the evil characters and the good characters. A few samples of the Artwork that inspires me are from Dota2. Of course I will not be able to do the likes of the below images. What catches my attention is the perspective and effects they use to implicate power of the characters.

The lightning effect from Rogue Knight Sven.
The perspective angle of Rogue Knight Sven as if he is going to throw something powerful.

In the center, the shockwave effect of clashing power.

Each character showing of what they are capable of doing. Lightning effects, Hail Blizzard effect, Fire effect, Barrier effect, Lightning whipping chain effect.

And then I will use the artwork to make a short Digital Graphic Novel. An example would be Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel as per link below.

The solid bass sound clips and the usage of onomatopoeia.

 The exaggerated effect from Marvel versus Capcom.

And the Father of all effects, the first one that inspires me, everything from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball.

The key points that I will focus on implying "Power" for the Project are ;

1) The usage of onomatopoeia
2) Using dramatic change in Soundtrack and Sound Clips.

A simple "Power" themed art done. Does this show "Power" just by looking at it?
